The district suspended all MAP Testing until next week. Because of this, we will cancel the Parent Training for tonight (September 17) and reschedule it for Wednesday, September 23rd at 5:30 PM. MAP Math testing will take place on Friday, September 25. Thank you for understanding and see you next week!

Thank you,

Parent MAP TESTING Training

MAP Testing will be given online this year in order to gather data to assess the support needed for students during distance learning. CCSD students in grades K-10 will be tested at home. Students’ scores are compared across their peer group and are not for a grade.

The MAP test is an adaptive test which means that as students answer questions correctly, the test will get harder. This discourages students from seeking assistance when answering questions. Parents are asked to complete a survey for each child to determine if they are available to monitor/proctor students while testing at home. Parents are asked to complete the home monitoring survey by accessing the Parent Proctor Form MAP Testing. Those students who do not have home monitoring available will be proctored by their period 1 teachers.

There will be a Virtual MAP Parent Training via Google Meets on Tuesday, September 8 from 5:30-6:30. Parent/guardians may access the Virtual MAP Parent Training via Google Meets at
https://meet.google.com/ecb-poei-gmy.
